Sediksi.com – Nominasi Oscar 2024 diumumkan Selasa malam (23/1) dengan Oppenheimer memimpin dengan 13 nominasi diikuti oleh Poor Things dengan 11 nominasi. Academy Awards tahunan ke-96 mengikuti tahun di mana fenomena Barbenheimer dari “Barbie” dan “Oppenheimer” karya Christopher Nolan bioskop-bioskop epik Perang Dunia II mengemas film-film di seluruh dunia dengan masing-masing meraup ratusan juta dolar di box office.
Namun, sayangnya ada hal yang mengejutkan, nominasi best director Greta Gerwig untuk Barbie tidak dinominasikan. Ia dan suaminya Noah Baumbach dinominasikan untuk best screenplay. Parahnya lagi, tidak ada nominasi best actress untuk Margot Robbie yang sukses memerankan film Barbie.
Margot mendapatkan nominasi best producer. Pemenang Oscar masa lalu Leonardo DiCaprio, yang membintangi Killers of the Flower Moon, juga tidak menerima penghargaan akting tahun ini
